I have now owned 3 pairs of skate shoes and 2 of them have 2 holes on the side of them that look like loops for laces. What do you do with them?Are you supposed to put the laces in them?

Is it ok to clean dirty white leather shoes in the washing machine?

should skate shoes be worn without the shoelaces?
I have a couple of pairs, and it seems like I see about half the people wearing them with laces, and half without. All my skate shoes have tongue holders, so it seems like you could.

I bought mine at Eastbay.com for $40 about a month ago. This is the White/Chocolate style. The pictures I took are a good representation of the color of the shoes. The pictures at Eastbay showed a lighter color which is exagerated.

Casual shoes?
Im looking for some casual shoes, for going out with friends etc. but im not sure what to get. Im looking for prefably slip-ons, but laces are ok. And i dont really want runners or sports shoes… could anyone suggest some good casual shoes? Oh yeah, and im a guy, so nothing to fancy.
